Meet the Founders
Brian and Leanne Spence turned their personal battles into a brand that empowers others. From battlefield injury to organ transplant recovery, they chose strength — and created Sicatrix to help others do the same.
Built from the Battlefield
In 2008, our co-founder Brian Spence was hit by an RPG during a firefight in Afghanistan. The injuries were life-threatening. But two years later, he fought his way back to full fitness — eventually becoming a Physical Training Instructor in the Parachute Regiment.
In 2022, his wife Leanne faced her own battle — surviving emergency organ failure and a life-saving liver transplant while on a family trip to Spain. Her recovery demanded not only discipline, but daily action.
Together, they rebuilt — and Sicatrix was born.
